Today we spent the whole day – from sunrise to sunset – at uMkhuze’s Kumasinga waterhole with its brilliantly placed photographic hide. We’ll share loads more photos from today once we’re back home, but here’s a little teaser of a gallery.

KuMasinga is wonderful – easy to spend the whole day there! Your photos are marvelous – such lovely bird sightings too!

Ja-nee, hier is soveel verskillende diere (ek kan net dink daar moet nog hope meer foto’s wees as julle die hele dag hier spandeer het). Mooi foto van die blou wildebees.

The snake was pretty amazing, Anne, but I was more chuffed with our photographic evidence that we saw the rare rosy-throated twinspit and Rudd’s apalis!

A treasure trove indeed. Joubert, I love the dancing impala although, Dries, you need to put the “c” in to make it “dancing” because right now it’s somehow being or becoming Danish. 🙂 Ha! I crack myself up.

You know it’s a Danish-ing Impala when it walks upright like that!

Thank you, Janet
