Today we spent the whole day – from sunrise to sunset – at uMkhuze’s Kumasinga waterhole with its brilliantly placed photographic hide. We’ll share loads more photos from today once we’re back home, but here’s a little teaser of a gallery.

Ja-nee, hier is soveel verskillende diere (ek kan net dink daar moet nog hope meer foto’s wees as julle die hele dag hier spandeer het). Mooi foto van die blou wildebees.

The snake was pretty amazing, Anne, but I was more chuffed with our photographic evidence that we saw the rare rosy-throated twinspit and Rudd’s apalis!
