Today was our last full day here, but we’re still loving every second in the uMkhuze Game Reserve! Tomorrow mid-day we will be moving on to Cape Vidal, an old favourite of ours located in an entirely different section of the iSImangaliso Wetland Park.

Another fabulous collection! I love the way Joubert captured the jaunty mischievous attitude of the elephant!

This was the first time we got to see elephants at uMkhuze. Not a sighting we will soon forget!

We have seen them there too and they exuded a high level of nervous energy.

I liked the dove and hoopoe pictures, Marilize. The hare looks a lot like our local jackrabbit.

Another excellent shot from the J-man. I like the shots of the giraffes as well. There are so many interesting shapes of horns in these various types of animals. God created such an endless array of beauty, both on the larger level and the smaller.

So very true, Janet, and in a wild place like this I find it so much easier to see His hand in everything around me, free from fakeness and consumerism.

I understand that! It’s one of the reasons I value being in Wyoming so much and even enjoy the drive to and from so many places.
