Today we spent the whole day – from sunrise to sunset – at uMkhuze’s Kumasinga waterhole with its brilliantly placed photographic hide. We’ll share loads more photos from today once we’re back home, but here’s a little teaser of a gallery.

KuMasinga is wonderful – easy to spend the whole day there! Your photos are marvelous – such lovely bird sightings too!
Thanks, Carol! This day really was a highlight of our uMkhuze visit.
Wow! What a smorgasbord of images! Terrific!
And these are not even a tiny fraction of the day’s haul, Lori!
All this and a spotted bush snake too! Wonderful.
The snake was pretty amazing, Anne, but I was more chuffed with our photographic evidence that we saw the rare rosy-throated twinspit and Rudd’s apalis!
Fantastic photos! It definitely shows a vast variety of animals. 🙂
Thank yoh, H.J. Kumasinga is a must-visit spot for any birdlover that visits uMkhuze.
A treasure trove indeed. Joubert, I love the dancing impala although, Dries, you need to put the “c” in to make it “dancing” because right now it’s somehow being or becoming Danish. 🙂 Ha! I crack myself up.
😀
You know it’s a Danish-ing Impala when it walks upright like that!
😀
Thank you, Janet
Beautiful
I love the purple Crest one
Thank you, Kelly
