So far we’ve seen a leopard, beautiful birds, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes, creepy crawlies of all description, and inspiring scenery. Let’s see what else we might encounter as we continue our explorations of Marakele National Park.

Pragtige diere! Ek lag lekker vir daardie koedoe kalf se groot ore 😁. En die foto van die kameelperd is pragtig!

Joubert’s showing off his photography skills today. 😁 The markings on the mongoose make them look a bit like armadillos.

Joubert’s giraffe is a wonderful portrait. When we were travelling Kenya our son’s favorite animal was the warthog. At that time our son was 12 years old.

Warthog’s really are comical creatures and a great fan favourite; Africa’s savannas would be much poorer without them!
