With cooler weather predicted today we decided on a longer outing, venturing as far as Olifants and Letaba Rest Camps to the north of Satara in the Kruger National Park. After dinner we joined another guided night drive.

Great to get a photograph of a Fiery-necked Nightjar. I like the action shot of the Marsh Terrapin for it has a characterful facial expression.

More wonderful photos! The steenbok has such interesting patterns on the inside of its ears.

We commented on the exact same thing when we noticed it, Anne, and how it makes the ears look like leaves when the steenbok hides in the vegetation!
