The inclement weather persisted today, and brought with it unseasonably cold weather – sending the Kruger’s reptiles, birds and mammals into hiding. Still, it is wonderful to be here in this weather; you can almost hear the grass and leaves growing!

The overcast weather provides a lovely soft palette for your photos. The photo of the yellow-billed kite is great,

Great to have the rain! Met some Americans today who had only just arrived. They said that in spite of the weather they had seen quite a few animals and got four of the Big Five They’re only here for three days so I was delighted that they had such a good day.
