Expedition Shingwedzi – Update 16 June 2019

Lovely warm weather here at Shingwedzi today, and lots of time to visit all the waterholes in the surrounding area – this one being Red Rocks to the south-west of the camp.

It´s so beautiful.😊 You have winter now in South Africa, we have summer here in Sweden and it´s only around 20°C… How is the temperature there?

Here where we are at Shingwedzi is just north of the tropic of Capricorn, John, so it doesn’t get very cold – the six days we’ve been here so far the daytime temperatures where around or above 25C – it is only chilly before sunrise.
