Roan Bonanza!

After five wonderful days of searching for predators at Satara we’ve now made our way to the Kruger’s Mopani Rest Camp, where our focus shifts to finding the rare antelope, like this roan antelope seen on the S50!

Thanks Michael! It’s been several years since we saw sable in Kruger, though we missed a herd by just a minute or two on Tuesday near Tshokwane! They normally stay on the more densely vegetated western side of the Park, which isn’t as well traversed by roads as the basalt plains on the eastern side, making sightings very special indeed!
