Just wondering, are these monkeys poached for sale as “pets”, or are they a protected species? I base this question on their “friendliness”, thus possibly making them easy to capture. Great shot.
Thanks Dan! No, Vervets are seldom kept as pets and quite numerous wherever they occur, often in big cities and towns as well – they are very adaptable!
