I’ve just arrived back from a quick two-day working visit to a very overcast Skukuza in the Kruger National Park. It’s amazing to see how quickly the Park is turning green after the first sprinkling of summer rains, and now some brand-new additions to Kruger’s animal population are making their debut. The stork will be kept very busy in the next couple of weeks!
More photos to follow in an upcoming edition of de Wets Wild!

So precious! 🙂
They certainly are Linda 😀
What wonderful images- the monkey family is especially endearing, but you gotta love those ears on the baby impala!
Luckily they all grow into their exceptional appendages Meg! Thanks for visiting with us again!
Sal vertel as ek terug is.Pragtige foto’s,Dries!
Oehoe, rooibok-wonderwerkies! Jou fotos maak my skoon opgewonde vir ons vakansie in Die Kruger. Dankie vir die vars fotos vanuit daar … Waardeer so baie.
Julle tel seker al die slapies Spokie?
Thanks for sharing all those cute babies.
Thanks for enjoying them with us Milka!
Aaaaggggg kyk net hoe pragtig. Hulle kan so uitbundig wees.
Precious babies! Kruger looks great, I have not been there since 1999!
No better time than the present to change that Aletta 😉
How exciting! The babies are all so precious.
That they certainly are Lois!
Is that an impala with the ears almost as big as he is? Love babies! ❤
The impala lambs are all ears and dangly legs Joanne! Luckily they grow into them 😉
kind of like puppies 🙂
I love these little ones and can’t wait to see a few myself as we will spend 17 days camping in Kruger starting the end of Nov. And guess what, we even got a night at Shipandani Hide, I can’t believe our luck.
You are sure to have a great time Kelly; the Park should be very pretty in her green coat, and there will probably be little babies all over the place! And a night at Shipandani; now that’s something to look forward to!
Precious … Even the pigs 🙂
Too cute for words Stacy!
So many encouraging scenes, Dries. Thank you.
I couldn’t help smiling when I saw the little ones running around Tish!
How precious all baby animals are….but I kinda like that impala!
They are so precious Barbara!
oh man – I’d love to travel to Kruger NP again some day…
I believe you will Matthias!
