Birds of a feather

We’re participating in the online adventure travel and photography magazine LetsBeWild.com‘s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggers. This week’s challenge is “Birds of a feather” and we’re submitting a collection of photographs of some of the more than one hundred bird species we’ve identified over the last five days that we’ve been spending here in the Kruger National Park.

I enjoyed this post, trying to remember the names of the birds I recognized from Tanzania before looking at their names. Who could forget the lilac breasted roller?? One of my favorites!

The whole roller family is just brilliantly beautiful! Wish I could get a photo of one in flight really showing of their colours!
And thanks for spending some time on one of our older posts!
