This cute, tree-dwelling, nocturnal primate is a thick-tailed bushbaby (or galago), often encountered while taking a night-time stroll through many of the rest camps in the Kruger National Park.

Your second photo is quite a shot! Tightrope walker! Love it, what balance and as a composition has wonderful drama against the night sky.
Thank you for the very kind commentary!

Sweet! How big are they?
Hi lagottocattleya! These are the biggest of the bushbabies; including their tails they grow to about 50cm long and weigh around 1kg. The smaller kinds of bushbabies weigh only about 150g.

Great capture Dries. These cutie pies are pretty elusive
Joey
Thanks Joey! I love searching for them in the camps at night when they give themselves away with their baby-like crying. Really endearing little animals.
