It’s the fifth day of our 2020 Summertide Ramble, and we’ve moved again – this time about 200km due east to the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park, where our cosy log cottage in the Ebb-and-Flow Rest Camp has a lovely (if overcast and rather chilly at the moment) view over the wetlands of the Serpentine River just before its confluence with the Touw River.

And it is, Siobhan. A favourite destination for many South Africans at this time of year.

Altyd lekker om jou saam te hê, Una. Ons reis deur die nasionale parke van die Oos en Wes Kaap. Ons is nou by Wilderness maar het nog 4 ander bestemmings oor hierna.

The time sure is flying, Anne! We still have two weeks and 4 destinations, 3 of which are national parks, remaining after Wilderness.
