Another beautiful day in the Satara area of the Kruger National Park today, and we didn’t even need to venture very far at all from camp for our wildlife encounters today.

Very cool shot of the kudu in silhouette!
Thanks, Michael, and nice to see you around here again!
I thought the delicate-looking bush cricket fit so well into its environment. Nice shot!
He’s a perfectly camouflaged assassin of soft-bodied insects!
These oxpeckers. Are they good or evil?
They’re usually good, Tracy, feeding on ticks and other parasites. But they can turn nasty, pecking at open wounds to feed on the blood
The Bush Cricket is my favourite today.
It’s an enormous insect, Anne!
I like the cricket and the zebras. Daughter likes…you know. 😉
I’m so glad we could cater to both your taste! 😀
Thank you, D. for the great post. I enjoy them very much. 🙂
We’re so grateful that you do, H.J!
More wonderful pics and sightings! I like all the photos but the kudu silhouette is most striking and unusual.
Thank you so much, Carol!
