Self made long weekends are the best time to get away and avoid crowds of holidaymakers. Where is this photo taken? It reminds me of the Letaba River, possibly taken outside the camp on one of the pull-ins at the side of the road on the way north.

The photo was taken along the upper reaches of the Pioneer Dam from a little turnoff on the S142 Shongololo Loop near Mopani.
Okay. I thought it was either Letaba or Mopani area. Letaba, Mopani and Shingwedzi are my favourite camps and ‘areas’ in KNP.
