Ek is sommer lekker jaloers maar ek gun julle dit. Dis so lekker om jul uitstappies saam met julle te geniet. Ek wens jul n geseënde feestyd toe, Jul sal seker nie tuis wees nie neem ek aan. Is daar internet opvangs?

Beautiful! My son is doing a report on Caracals. It made me think of you. Do you have any posts about them? I bet he would love to see your view of it! We made a habitat diorama and I can’t imagine being able to explore that area like you do!

I really wish we had any decent photos of caracals so that we could dedicate a post to them, but they’re very elusive and all our encounters with them terribly fleeting. Perhaps that will change this trip!

It’s our second visit, Candy, and would likely have been here many times more if only it wasn’t over a 1000km away from our home in Pretoria. The Karoo really has a magical quality.
