During our visit to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park in December we found that at least two warthog sows decided that Mpila Camp would make an excellent nursery for their tiny piglets.
Aren’t they adorable!?

So cute.
No wonder mom is so protective of them!
They sure are cute!
Pity they have to grow up 😀
These little piggies are my favourite animals, I actually have a sculpture of a family on my mantelpiece, brought back from Vic Falls!
I’m sure it brings you a few good memories when you see the family of warthogs on your mantelpiece, Joan!
Dit maak my hart warm
Great gallery, the babies look cute, but that mother looks fierce!
She will do her best to protect the babies against all comers.
Yes, but I’ll keep a safe distance so as not to upset Mom, she looks tough.
She most certainly is – like most moms I know!
I love these guys! Wonderful gallery, de Wets.
Thanks Jane! Can something be so ugly and so cute at the same time!?
Those tusks look like they mean business.
Yes, and mom is not shy to use them if needs be!
Yes the certainly are. 🙂
