We spent today exploring and enjoying some of the amazingly diverse ecosystems here at Umlalazi Nature Reserve, and planning to do more of the same tomorrow – there’s no way you can fit it all into a single day!

Ja Dries,maar dit was lank gelede.Ek onthou net dat ons die palmaasvoël gesien het en dat daar sulke houtpaadjies was.Sal graag wil weet hoe dit nou lyk.

Indeed Pat! Umlalazi protects a stretch of beach, the lagoon of the river with the same name, mangrove swamps, an extensive reedbed and a large tract of forest – amazing diversity for a small reserve!
