Summer’s heading our way here in the southern hemisphere, and many South Africans are looking forward to their holidays at the seaside. The rugged, rocky coast at the Storms River Mouth, in the beautiful Tsitsikamma section of the Garden Route National Park, is a particularly popular destination for many.

“Sea” is the theme for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week

That’s a spectacular looking coastline! I left a lot on the table in S. Africa during my visit.
The Tsitsikamma coast is definitely a scenic part of our country Mike. We hope you’ll be able to return soon to see and photograph more of South Africa’s wild places!
I know it’s South Africa, just for a second I thought it was Tasmania. Very similar coastline. Now I’m a little homesick. Great shot btw.
Thank you Heather! I can just imagine how homesick you must be, Helsinki’s a long way from Tasmania!
Thankfully the internet makes the world feel so much smaller these days. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
We’re so glad to have you join us Kanerva. Welcome!
It’s a wet, grey morning here in Ireland and I see that sight! You really make me homesick!!
Thanks again for the great way you show that beautiful country… I remain envious, as always! 😉
Thank you very much AJ!
No way we’re trading our weather for your’s today – very nice blue-sky spring day at 26-degrees here in Pretoria. If only there was a way to send some of it your way…

This is how I imagine paradise to be. Beautiful!
Thanks for the visit Myra GB! Yes, the Tsitsikamma is most definitely a beautiful place!
That looks like a spectacular coastline.
Easy to see why it is such a popular destination Chrisstov. Thanks for dropping by again!

Lovely Dries. Are you guys planning a seaside vacation or is it back to the “wilds of Africa” for you? I think I know the answer….. 😉
You know us so well Joey!
We’re planning to visit Ithala, Imfolozi and Golden Gate around Christmas time this year but we’re hoping to get to the sea again (in a nice natural environment like Cape Vidal or Tsitsikamma please!) next year
