Flowers

These waterlilies, photographed in the Ithala Game Reserve, grow in a pond overlooked by Ntshondwe Camp’s restaurant’s deck, adding to the tranquil atmosphere while enjoying a meal in the great outdoors!

We have waterlilies but no where near in the abundance that your photo showed. Ours are more scattered around. So you get a shot of one or two at best.

We have two waterlilies growing in pots in our fish ponds but the koi and the goldfish tend to eat the leaves so the poor plants have little chance of producing flowers. 😉

Have a great rest of the day Dries, Marilize and Joubert.

We love fish ponds; would like to be able to have one of our own someday but for now we have to be satisfied with a tropical tank indoors! Maybe you can post a picture of your ponds one day 😉 !?

Wishing you a beautiful day as well Joey and Marks!

I’ll send some of the ponds to your e-mail address. They’re not really good but you’ll get the idea. With the trees and bushes it’s hard to get a good vantage point. We have 7 koi in the big pond and three fancy goldfish in the smaller pond. We also have a freshwater aquarium with assorted gold fish etc. 😉
