The photo of the elephants in a rush to water is a great photo story. Not knowing the detail makes the viewer wonder what the commotion is all about.
Those tiny warthogs don’t seem to be nervous around those big elephant feet. Of all the animals we saw on our journey, I think my favorite is the elephant. They seem so intelligent.
Elephants are my favourite as well, John. They have such individual personalities and are obviously quite intelligent. Being able to watch their interactions so closely in a place like Addo is wonderful
Three little warthogs and an elephant! How tiny and how big, unbelievable!
Elephant don’t like sharing their waterholes at all, Lois. In that picture the elephant is preparing to swat a trunk their way and the three little pigs are already jumping out of the way!

Those warthogs, in the last photo, are tiny! The elephants don’t bother them?

haha! Thanks for the explanation, Dries. Not at all what I expected!
So many wonders! 🥰
We live in a beautifully crafted world, that’s for sure! Wish we’d learn to look after it better.
Amen.
Beautiful!
Thank you, Ilze!
I note the jackal in the background of your final photograph – I love seeing them in the park!
We had some terrific sightings of black-backed jackals on our trip, Anne, which is a good thing as I love them too!
