Winter in Mokala: Quintessential Africa

The scenery in Mokala National Park seems purpose-built for a television documentary on Africa, and I might be biased but there’s no continent with more beautiful sunrises and sunsets than ours.

Come take a drive with us through this beautiful national park:

We’ll soon be announcing a very exciting spring-time tour to the Mokala National Park – do keep an eye on DeWetsWild’s facebook page so that you don’t miss out!

Wow….. not only are your photos and video spectacular “advertisements“ for Africa, I feel as though I’ve just been there in person! Thank you for sharing your beautiful world, DeWets.

Dit is absoluut so, Ineke. Die stukkies ongeskonde skepping wat oorbly regom die aarde is mooi orals, van woestyn tot woud. n Mens se tuisgrond praat darem met jou siel op n manier wat vreemde plekke nie doen nie,

Yes, you definitely are biased, but I can understand why. 🙂 I won’t agree you have the best sunsets, but they’re right up with the ones I’ve seen that I think are just as good. The part of Joshua Tree that has all the Joshua trees reminded me greatly of parts of Africa, including this one, although there aren’t any similar animals. There’s also a part of Arizona that we drive through when heading north or east that looks more than a little like this. I greatly enjoyed the drive and look forward to more videos (she said hopefully.)

      😀

Come visit us, Janet, and I will help our sunsets crawl under your skin and into your heart. I know of nothing else that has such a calming effect on me as that “golden hour” at the end of a day in the bush.

I’m still finding my feet with the videos but I plan to make it a more regular feature of our trips reports going forward. Thanks for the encouragement!
