We’ve arrived in Cape Town where we’ll be visiting the Table Mountain National Park and surrounds for the next couple of days. Here just a quick look at two of the city’s most iconic landmarks; Table Mountain and Robben Island. and one less well known, the memorial to Cecil John Rhodes.

Dit bly nou maar n pragtige prentjie, die Tafelberg. Ek kan my indink hoe bly en verlig die seevaarders van ouds was wanneer hulle dit op die horison gewaar.
Dis presies wat ek en Berto altyd vir mekaar se wanneer ons Tafelberg sien … dit moes ‘n absolute blye dag wees wanneer hierdie berg voor hulle oe verskyn het!
Ek hou sommer baie van Tafelberg! Bly julle het dit geniet daar!
These places have become so familiar to me ever since my daughter moved to Cape Town many, many moons ago. It is lovely to see your pictures and I know you will have a good time there: Cape Point is a marvellous place to visit.
Cape Town really cannot be overestimated as a destination – there’s just so much to see and do there!
