We’ve had another wonderful day exploring the beautiful surroundings of Hilltop Rest Camp here in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, marveling at creatures big and small along the way.

Each photo more magical than the next…and that spider..Wow!
You are very kind, Lori. Thank you!
I have never seen a spider like that one. The Red-billed Oxpecker is rare to to me too. Thanks, D. and Joubert. 🙂
I’m going to have to research that spider, H.J, as it was a new species for me as well! Always something new to discover and learn when you study nature.
First of all I had to readjust my thinking from “No, it’s not autumn yet” to “Duh, on the other side of the hemisphere.” 🙂 After that I could just enjoy the photos, especially the one of the colorful spider that appears to have superhero wings and the softness of that monkeys fur. 🙂
I can’t say that I am exactly thrilled at autumn’s arrival at our end, but aside from the sun rising later and setting earlier not much else to give its presence away at the moment – we still reached 33C today!
Dis n meneer samango monkey.
Hy is wraggies baie indrukwekkend!
This is a holiday you will all remember for a long time. I like your ‘beautifully adorned’ spider.
Thank you very much, Anne. Every chance we get to visit this special park is a treasure!
