We arrived at the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park’s Hilltop Camp today and feel like we’re being treated like royalty. Not only have we been allocated a chalet with the most incredible view over the hills of the Hluhluwe-section of the Park, but we’ve already seen the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo – on our first afternoon here!

So mooi daar Dries. My sus hulle het daar in Hluhluwe gebly! Daai By- vreter voeltjie is so mooi!
As ek darem in Hluhluwe gebly het weet ek waar ek elke naweek sou spandeer!
Ek kan dit dink!
Wat ‘n pragtige uitsig vanaf julle chalet! En die Groot 5 op een dag … julle is regtig bederf!
“Bederf” is die heel beste manier om dit te beskryf, dankie Corna!
What a wonderful first afternoon! I just love the bee eaters and that shot of the Nyala bull really shows what a handsome fellow he is.
Nyalas really are such regal animals. Luckily they’re very common here so we get lots of chances to show them off!
What a fruitful first day with the Big 5, Dries. Love those little Bee Eaters. Great photos all around.
Thanks a lot, Jane!
Pretty animals everywhere! Very interesting. Thanks, D. 🙂
Exactly how we felt after we arrived, H.J!
Renosters is spesiaal
Absoluut, Ineke. Jammer mense se stiksinnigheid bedreig hulle steeds.
Dis die mark en handel in horings wat dit so erg maak. Dis vir die medisinale rituele wat eintlik totaal en al nie enige mediese waarde het in werklikheid nie.
In this case, one cannot have too much of a good thing 🙂
It certainly was a more lavish welcome than we could have hoped for, Anne!
