Satara Summer 2021 – 31 December

What a blessing to see out the last day of 2021 in a place as beautiful as the Kruger National Park…

We wish all our friends here at De Wets Wild a beautiful 2022 filled with health and happy times spent in beautiful places.

You have some fantastic photos here and the elephant tussle is particularly striking. Best to you all for the year ahead and wishing you more fabulous visits to wild places.

Thanks for letting me tag along during your adventures of the year. I’m looking forward to what you do and see this year. Joubert, love the elephant tussle. The hyena running down the road reminds me of the way cattle will lumber down the road bawling and looking stressed instead of just getting off the road and letting the vehicle pass. 🙂 All the best for 2022!

“Like a deer caught in headlights”! Luckily, while the picture might make it appear otherwise, this hyena was actually in quite a hurry to somewhere and the vehicles were doing their best to try and keep up to see what it was trying to get to at such speed!

Ja, ek het ‘n voorgeskrewe boek vir standerd agts gehad, The misty mountains. Dit speel af in Magoebaskloof en die vlakvarke het die seun se oupa se sweetpotatoes uitgegrawe en hul moes die varke aanmekaar wegjaag.
