Summertide Rambles 21 January 2021

This morning we spent a while taking in the most serene views from atop the Kwasheleni Tower here in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, from where you can see the Indian Ocean to the east, Lake Saint Lucia in the west, and the wild forests and grasslands teaming with wildlife in between.

It amuses me to be sitting somewhere where I can count the number of plants I can see and then look at your photos of so many it would be difficult to count even a small section of them. Of course I’m in a suburb, not out in the desert where there are quite a lot more plants but not green or this many. Neither is better or worse, but they’re certainly different!

Baie oulik.
