Yesterday, Joubert and I slipped away for a day visit to the Pilanesberg National Park. We’ll soon be telling you all about our amazing day in the bushveld, but until then we’ll share this little teaser of what’s in store.

Looks like we’re in for a treat!!
I’d like to think so, AJ
Nice one, what a treat!
Absolutely, Cal.
Wow!
Fantasties!
Wow, looks like we’re in for some amazing photos!
If the pictures are only half as awesome as our day was, Lori, you’re in for a treat!
The Pilanesberg holds a special place in my heart: it was our ‘go to’ place during our time in the then Bophuthatswana – it was also the last place I visited (unknowingly!) before the lock down began!
We also like Pilanesberg very much, Anne, and I can’t believe it’s been almost two years since our last visit. I think we packed two years worth of sightings into one day yesterday!
Can’t wait to read and see more about it!

I’ll bet you won’t be disappointed, Janet
I’m sure I won’t.
What is Joubert’s reaction to witness a preying like that?
He was excited beyond words, H.J! Seeing this kind of predator-prey interaction really is one of the top wildlife experiences.
