With South Africa preparing for a nationwide “lock-down” of a minimum three week duration in the face of the global pandemic, we’ve returned from the Drakensberg grateful for having had a chance to recharge our batteries in beautiful natural surroundings. We’ll be sharing many more photos from our latest trip in days to come and hope that they’ll bring you as much joy as the memories will for us in these trying times.

Ons sou beslis veiliger gewees het daar, AJ – ongelukkig is daar nie die nodige fasiliteite om mens vir 3 weke afgesonder te onderhou nie, en dit sou onredelik wees om van die personeel te verwag om daardie behoeftes aan te spreek op kort kennisgewing.
So rustig en so mooi daar!

Baie dankie, Tina – ons is nou “veilig” verskans in ons huisie in Pretoria.
Hoop dit gaan goed met jou en dat jul ook veilig en gesond is?
Gelukkig kan jy van die huis af werk? Voel in ingeperk … maak dit jou ongemaklik?
Gelukkig kan ek van die huis af werk ja. En gelukkig is ons een gesin wat in elk geval die winkels vermy sover moontlik, so hopelik sal ons nie te veel sukkel met die tuisbly vir n paar weke nie. Maar ek erken, as dit maande gaan wees voor ons weer in die bos kan kom gaan dit moeilik raak…
