Another lovely day out exploring the Satara area of the Kruger National Park – overcast start to the morning with the clouds dissipating during the course of the day; as I am typing this we’re viewing the almost-full moon rising beautifully over the savanna.

Fantastic photos again. My favourite is the korhaan
Thank you, Helen! That Korhaan was singing his heart out!
Wonderful shots of gorgeous animals. 🙂
Thank you, H.J!
Lyk of julle elke oomblik geniet
Defnitief, Tina!
Wow, I love all of these shots. What a majestic waterbuck and what a tiny elephant baby in the group photo. How lovely to see all the newborns, such as the baby wildebeest.
I know the heat puts many would-be visitors off their plans, but to me December really is the best time to be visiting Kruger.
Die klein wildebesie is my gunsteling.Pragtige foto’s, Dries!
Baie dankie, Dina! Die baba diertjies wat ons raakloop maak sommer n mens se hart sag!
The Red-crested Korhaan is a beautiful shot!
Thank you very much, Anne. His calling and displaying kept us entertained for quite a while, though we never saw the object of his affection.
That impala is so funny and the baby animals so cute. What an adventure! As always, thanks for sharing and that moon sounds beautiful.

We can’t help sharing this wonderful place, Janet – our love for Kruger spills over.
Lovely day with magnificent pics. Great that you share your experiences in this way!
Thanks Joep! Looking forward to your arrival – travel safely!
Great nellyfump views.
I get the feeling it would not be a good idea to step on that log!
He’ll let you know just why you shouldn’t pretty quickly! 🙂
