We’ve just arrived back home after a wonderful ten days in the bush, visiting the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park in South Africa’s Kwazulu-Natal Province.

I have never seen a dog with those colors…here in the U.S. The dog looks kind of hungry….
That’s a prime specimen of our African Wild Dog, Mary. They’ve never been domesticated and are highly endangered. And you’re right – this one IS hungry; here he is stalking a herd of impalas.
