We encountered these two love-struck plains zebras this past weekend while walking in our local Moreletakloof Nature Reserve. What a contrast to the fighting, kicking and biting zebras from Ithala Game Reserve we showed you a couple of weeks ago!

This is our final entry for the 5 Day Black-and-White Challenge, and it gives us great pleasure to invite our dear friends, Joey and Marks Culver, to join in the challenge. They are experts at black-and-white photography, and showcase their talents on their blog, mjculverphotography, which you really should visit if you’re at all interested to see exactly how black-and-white should be done! Marks & Joey, it’s no problem if you decide not to join in, as long as you know how much we enjoy your blog and appreciate your friendship!
There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.

Here’s another one you definitely ought to frame! Beautiful! 🙂
You’ve such a kind heart, thank you Linda!
Pragtig!
I love this photo so much ❤
Thanks Joanne!
Stunning photo Dries of a very special moment – the world can sometimes be beautiful and cruel at the same time…
That’s so true Maurice. Like we say in Afrikaans, “n lag met n traan”, translated a “smile with a tear”.
And thank you!
Al vyf is briljant! Kon kuier Maandag… 😉
Dankie AJ, ek kan nie wag nie!
Waar is jou “header ” geneem?
Lekker man. Sien uit daarna
Hoekom moet die lekker dinge altyd ent kry! 5 dae van S&W het gevlieg. Selfs die sebras is jammer daaroor. Pragtige foto.
Groot plesier, jul is ook altyd welkom by my!
🙂
Thanks 🙂
How beautiful!
Thanks Dorothy 😀
Almost abstract with wonderful lines.
Thanks for the compliment Tim!
You’re welcome.
Perfect in monochrome guys!!
I can only imagine the magic you guys would make with subjects like these!
Very tempting……If wishes were…….. 😉
A beautiful image for the month of love. Zebras always look best in B&W. 😀
I’m convinced you can’t take a bad photo of zebras 😉
Baie dankie Tina!
Your B&W’s have been stunning! What a beautiful way to end the challenge. I absolutely love all your photographs.
Thank you very much Lois, that’s so kind!
Amazing. That is an award winning photo!
That’s terribly kind of you to say, thank you Kathy
Gorgeous!
Dankie Aletta
