       Especially early morning, when the water’s as still as in this photo, you’d normally find several rowers out on the dam, Jane. Some are serious sportsmen, others gently follow the shoreline appreciating the wildlife at the water’s edge.

       “Munro Bay” is the main boating venue at Midmar Dam, Lois, and extremely popular with boatsmen from the nearby cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg. It’s easy to see why!
