This little museum hut is all that remains of Kruger National Park’s erstwhile Rabelais Rest Camp, long since abandoned when the Parks’ central-western boundary was moved to its present position at the Orpen Rest Camp & Entrance Gate.
“Abandoned” is the theme for WordPress’ weekly photo challenge.

Raising hand to live there !!!!
It would be a very unconventional lifestyle, but definitely richly rewarding!
Unconventional is my middle name. How so?
All alone in a spartan little hut, miles away from anyone else, surrounded by nothing but wild african bush and the creatures that call it home. Not many of earth’s 7-billion people would be comfortable with that scenario, but I agree entirely, to me it sounds as close to heaven-on-earth as it gets 😉
It would 100% work for me I assure you. (maybe a bit o electricity! : )
