Today was our final full day camping on the game farm Aloe Canyons near Swellendam. Tomorrow we’re moving our camp eastwards, to the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park.

This is an impressive photograph of an eland jumping!!! I saw a pair of blue cranes in the veld not far from town yesterday 🙂
I think we saw more Blue Cranes on this trip than any previous ones, Anne. It is good to see that our national bird is flourishing! And how lucky you are to have them live in your part of the world.
