Today we moved to Aloe Canyon, a private game farm near Swellendam in the Western Cape, which we’ll be using as a base for our explorations over the next few days.

I recognize a bird that we’ve seen regularly in the west and south United States. The Cattle Egret is one of my first egret photo captures.
They make wonderful.phoyographic subjects, don’t they John? They never seem bothered by humans in close proximity.
It sounds like a wonderful place to base yourselves.
It really is, Anne. So secluded and serene.
This looks like a lovely place which is not far away from where we live. We will need to visit too.
