Here’s a fun video Joubert took during our latest visit to the Kruger National Park of a dung beetle hard at work. Watch the female catching a lift!

Haha, dis nou wat ek ‘n saamry geleentheid noem! Goeie video, dankie Joubert.
Baie dankie, Corna!
In watter standerd is hy nou? Garsfontein hoërskool, né?
Baie dankie, Una.
I enjoy watching dung beetles at work!
I don’t know why, but I find watching dung beetles at work oddly soothing. Probably because they make such a terrible job look so easy. They’re rather inspiring!
Their tenacity is admirable.
Haha, beslis. Mis is baie sterk brandstof as mens dit so kon stel.
That’s amazing…and funny.
Great entertainment to watch in real life, Janet!
That was like a circus act. Tell Joubert I got dizzy watching it. 😵💫
If you could find a crowd at your end Tracy we’ll send over a troop of dung beetles for a live performance! 😀
We have dung beetles. Not quite as large as yours. Not circus performers either. 🙂
