We had a feast of leopards around Shingwedzi today – no less than 4 separate encounters with these spotted beauties! These photos by Joubert are just a little teaser; we will share more when we get back home.

Sjoe, julle is gelukkig om soveel luiperds te sien! Joubert doen goed met die foto’s … een van die dae kan jy net agteroor sit en die diere geniet terwyl hy die foto’s neem 😉.
Om soveel kere luiperds op een dag te sien was beter as om die lotto te wen!
Joubert geniet die fotografie baie. Ek kan nogal sien dat hy eendag n loopbaan daarvan kan maak.
Pragtige fotos. Jul het beslis ‘n baie goeie dag gehad om so baie luiperds te kon sien.
Dit was n enorme voorreg, Ineke. n Dag wat ons nog lank sal onthou!
Beslis ja. Selfs ek onthou toe ons op ‘n nag uitstappie gegaan het Kruger het ons ‘n luiperd gevolg met spotlight. Later in boom geklim met twee Hyenas wat haar/hom verpes het deur te bly volg. Was omtrent in 2008 gewees toe ek ‘n prys gewen het om die nagrit te doen.
Dit moes n fantastiese ondervinding gewees het, Ineke!
Dit was beslis. Ons kon ‘n hele ent die luiperd sien aanstap in die ruigtes totdat hy in die boom geklim het en ons die Hyenas kon sien wat hom so omgekrap het. Hy’t vir hul geblaas daar uit die boom uit.
That young leopard is an absolutely, amazingly, beautiful animal. Well done, Joubert!
