I think it’s more the inclement weather than the government-imposed restriction on beach-going in the Garden Route (an attempt at limiting crowds to curb the spread of COVID-19) that caused the beach at Nature’s Valley to be this deserted today.
We’ll be spending the next few days with close family in Jeffreys Bay but we’ll resume our summertide rambles through two of the Eastern Cape national parks on the 27th.

I loved that place! I used to call Natures Valley “God’s own country!” Camped in the caravan park often… one man tent and loads of one man fun!
The camping site at De Vasselot was packed to capacity just before Christmas, AJ, but I bet out of season it must feel like paradise.
Best wishes for Christmas and a happy time with family tomorrow.
And to you, dear Carol!
Happy Holidays! 🙂
And to you, H.J!
How marvellous that you will be able to spend Christmas with close family – this is so very special in these times! I hope you will all enjoy a wonderful time together and that the year ahead will bless you all with good health and opportunities for a lot more travelling.
We’re visiting with Marilize’s parents at their home in Jeffreys Bay – the first time we’ve seen them “in the flesh” for 16 months – and what a joyous reunion it was, thanks Anne!
Geseende Kersfees vir julle!
En vir julle, dankie Aletta!
Merry Christmas to you, Dries! 🎄
Thanks, Lois, and a Merry Christmas to you too!
I never mind an empty beach. 🙂 Merry Christmas to all of you! Praying that this next year will be filled with blessings.

Thank you dear Janet for the beautiful blessing! Merry Christmas to you and your dear ones too, and may 2021 be a year you’ll remember for all the most beautiful reasons.
