One of our favourite spots in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park is the bridge crossing the Black Umfolozi River on the road to Mpila Camp. There just always seem to be something of interest to find there!
This picture of a guided sunset drive about to cross the bridge was taken on a previous visit to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi

Wonderful images of this magnificent animal, de Wets. Agh, I want to return!
You are always welcome to come back, Jane!
A dream come true! 🙂
Were the elephants ok? Did the hyena make any trouble?
The elephants were just fine, Maida. The hyena had a quick drink and then loped off in search of easier prey.
Whew! It’s just that the hyenas always make trouble (as shown in documentaries I’ve watched)
Lovely spot indeed and I do love elephants. 🙂
