Thanks for the kind words, Ann, and a happy 2017 to you as well!
Our preferred route to Phalaborwa Gate follows the N1 to Polokwane, and from there through Magoebaskloof with the R71 to Tzaneen, Gravelotte and then Phalaborwa – a total distance of roughly 480km from Pretoria.
Enjoy your trip – we’d love to hear about your time in Kruger Park!
Wow! These all look like fun places to stay! Even the tents 😉 I’ve done my time tenting… I need solid walls around me now. Keep all the scary things out 😉 ha ha.
Unfortunately solid walls is no guarantee in our wild places that the scary things, like snakes, scorpions, bats and spiders, remain outside, Ilex – at least when pitching my own tent I know it goes up sans any of those!
What an amazing year you all had…this is what memories are made of. Looking forward to seeing what you’re up to next year. Have a Happy New Year, Sheila
Thank you so much for your great photos and news of your travels – and Happy 2017 to you and your family.
Could you please let me know the best route to take from Gauteng to Phalaborwa Gate KNP as we plan to visit the Park later this year.
Thanking you again – Ann Ralph.
