As near as you can get to heaven on earth, Indeed! These are great photos.
Thank you very much Amy!
That night sky is unbelievable!! Can’t wait to get to Kruger later this year 🙂
I can just imagine Clara! We’re heading to Northern Kruger on Friday for a quick weekend visit 😉
Fantastic. Our first trip to Cape Town is next on our list….
I hope you have a wonderful time in the Mother City, Clara!
Such a beautiful place filled with amazing creatures! 🙂
It is, Linda, it really is!
Pragtige fotos! Ek stem saam met jou – die Kruger Wildtuin is die naaste aan die hemel op aarde. My gunsteling twee kampe is Satara en Maroela.
Jy praat Zirkie! Satara en Maroela het ook altwee hul spesiale bekoring- die groot katte natuurlik bo-aan die lys!
Oehoe! Voorwaar a happy place. Die gallery fotos is stunning! Jy het baie moeite gedoen. Waardeer.
Baie dankie nogmaals Spokie. My argiewe is vol mooi fotos van Shingwedzi en omgewing 😉
It’s a beautiful place where you live. Love the photos as always. Yaz.
Thanks Yaz! Unfortunately we don’t live at Shingwedzi, but wouldn’t it have been wonderful if we did! Luckily we live close enough to be able to visit there from time to time 😉
I agree with Judy. I may never get to your part of the world in person, but I love every minute of the virtual trips. I always wonder whether people from other places find some of the things and places in the US exotic, things we take for granted.

Take it from me, you have some awesome scenery and fascinating wildlife that I’d love to experience one day Janet! And we are only too happy to have you come along while we explore our wild places 😉
Wouldn’t it be great if we could each visit the other?
Just the price of airplane tickets away, unfortunately our Rand has taken a pounding of late making it a whole lot more pricey 😦
I understand!
But we can dream can’t we!
Yes and follow blogs. 🙂
Agreed!
I like that – “as near as you can get to heaven …..” That’s a serious recommendation, Shingwedzi’s going to the top of my wish-list!
For us there’s no drive in any South African reserve that compares to the S50 road along the Shingwedzi River for atmosphere, scenery and diversity of wildlife. You won’t go wrong with Shingwedzi, Liz!
Thanks for this, filed for the future.
Always love your wildlife photos!
We’re so glad you do, thanks John!
Looks spectacular! 😀
Shingwedzi is a spectacular place, that’s true, Inger! Thanks for visiting with us!
Beautiful!
Thank you, again, Teresa!
Ai,so mooi!
Ou Shingwedzi le my so na aan die hart!
That type of place would definitely be my happy place also!
Shingwedzi has a very special place in our hearts, Joan!
Who knows maybe you’ll like to participate to my weekly challenge….?…. or not !
But you should come and take a look….

Thank you for the invitation Sylvain!
So beautiful to get out n nature. Love the sunset photo. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia! Out in nature is always wonderful, but few places compare to good old Shingwedzi!
Visiting your blog is going to a happy place!!! 😉
Thanks man AJ, you’ve made my morning with those kind words!
I love the image of Shingwedzi Sunrise with the buffalo, a shot worth getting up for.
Thank you so much, Jim! At Shingwedzi you’ll always be rewarded for an early start!
You can definitely out shine us all when you start showing photos from your part of the world. Thanks for sharing because most of us will never have the opportunity to visit. 🙂
We’re so privileged and thankful to have the support of kind people like you, Judy!
Julle het baie lekker plekke!
Ons het Tina, dis baie waar! Maar ou Shingwedzi het sy spesiale plekkie in ons harte, dis verseker.
Dis baie spesiaal
