We spent a considerable amount of time on our last full day at Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park stuck behind wide and heavy loads… The Park’s elephant population is obviously booming!

I absolutely love all the photos. You are so lucky to be in such a place with the bush, the animals, the total atmosphere of Africa.
We’re thankful every day Dendymactoodle, I can just imagine how much you must miss it.
My favorites! Thank you. I know you did not post this great photo just for me, but. . . it is great!
Thanks a lot Patti!
Ha! This is not exactly what I thought of when you said, ‘wide and heavy loads.’ Funny.
Glad we could make you smile, Lois!
Booming is good !
Absolutely Kathryn, though when elephant populations get too big for the reserves in which they occur, they can cause considerable damage to the vegetation.

Lack of poaching is definitely a good thing Kathryn, we certainly don’t want our animals exploited through illegal killings.
Most assuredly agreed.
My agterstel sal goed inpas hier…
