There’s the right way, and then there’s the quick way 😉

Downhill at the St. Lucia Crocodile Centre, in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park

Mind your step at the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve
“Descent” is the theme for this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge

Some people do love to live on the wild side, regardless of the signs. 🙂
You are so right Mary!
PERFECT !!
Thanks for visiting with us again Kathryn!
It’s the alligator waiting at the bottom that did it for me. 🙂
Brings a new definition to the term “fast food”!
I’m late this week (even later than the prompt) but here I am and still laughing at that first one. Love it!!
janet
Nice to know we could help brighten your day, thanks Janet!
Now that’s a warning one doesn’t see everyday 😉 Yikes!!
I’d imagine if San Francisco had a few crocodiles lurking around there might have been a few more signs like this one Stacy 😀
Hiehie Funny!
Oh my, I am truly laughing out loud. What a riot!!
Glad we could help brighten your day Maya!
Welcome here!
Yikes! Don’t have to warn me twice 😄
Dangerous places these 😉
on the first photo… weeeeeeeee! – and gulp! is that too bad? sorry, couldn’t help it!
I doubt the crocodile would mind M.Winter 😀
Welcome!

Those are fantastic choices and interpretations of descent. Wonderful 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my entry 🙂
Thanks Suyash!
hehehehe ek sal uiters ongewild wees.
Loved it 🙂 me still smiling
Glad we could help to brighten your day Mamta!
They never let us have any fun.
Rules, rules, rules… 😀
Kennisgewingborde maak soms baie interessante foto’s.
The one in St Lucia is too funny. I didn’t see that one there but I have photos of some other’s about crocs, like not feeding them. The fact that they need to say that scares me more than the crocs, lol.
I couldn’t agree more Kelly! You’d think that fear of crocodiles alone would be more than enough to keep people at a safe distance. But no!
That first sign is definitely explicit! 😀
Lindy
No doubt about the fate that awaits you 😉
In that little space of time between clicking on your site and the moment it opens… I find myself holding my breath anxious to see what your post will be…
You author one of my favorite blogs!
~Jane
Such a nice message to get early on a beautiful Saturday morning; thank you very much Jane!
That first sign is hilarious! Is that a bad thing to say? I can’t help it if I see humor in it! 😛
I think the sign is a great piece of dark humour and no one would mind us laughing a bit, hey Linda!
I didn’t see the croc in the first picture right away…. What a great sign!
The guy in the wheelchair seems to have noticed the crocodile Lois! 😉
I kind of feel bad for laughing at the first one, but I confess, I thought it was funny.
I know what you mean P J B!
Excellent – great message to all those rule breakers…
One would have thought that especially the 2nd sign shouldn’t have been necessary, wouldn’t you agree Leslie? Common sense?
You would need to be very brave to ignore those graphic warnings!
Or just plain dumb! There seem to be very many such brave / dumb people around these days!
The first’s a classic!!
When you see it for the first time, you almost start looking around first before laughing 😀
That first sign is just AWESOME!! If it were anywhere near NYC, it would be stolen in a heartbeat. By us. Thx for the great interpretation of the challenge 🙂
Thanks Jean & Alex! It is a favourite sign of ours too, an attraction in its own right 😉
That is the funniest safety sign I have ever seen (the downhill wheelchair)! Thanks for sharing!
No one can say they weren’t warned 😉
Welcome to de Wets Wild, Tiare!
Thank you! And thank you for sharing your part of the world!
Love the sign with the crocodile waiting at the bottom…
One almost feels guilty for giggling…
Welcome here Albatz!
