We encountered this bushbuck ewe this morning in the Queen Elizabeth Park Nature Reserve – the headquarters of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife – in the city of Pietermaritzburg.

      Thanks for visiting! This bushbuck was actually quite close to us – I’d say less than 25m. I guess that because QEPNR also serves as the HQ for Kwazulu Natal’s provincial conservation body the animals are quite used to having humans around.

      The Queen Elizabeth Park is a beautiful little nature reserve Seeker, and right on the edge of Pietermaritzburg. A real treasure! We’ll post a bit more about it in a forthcoming edition.
