Wow! hurrah for the long lens so you can snap such a beautiful animal up close without her running away.
Thanks for visiting! This bushbuck was actually quite close to us – I’d say less than 25m. I guess that because QEPNR also serves as the HQ for Kwazulu Natal’s provincial conservation body the animals are quite used to having humans around.

What a beautiful looking bush that is.
The Queen Elizabeth Park is a beautiful little nature reserve Seeker, and right on the edge of Pietermaritzburg. A real treasure! We’ll post a bit more about it in a forthcoming edition.
