We followed a gravel track leading to the small town of Kestell, through the north-eastern corner of the Golden Gate Highlands National Park, this morning, and came across this big herd of blesbok dwarfed by the mountainous scenery.

What a breathtaking shot!!
Thank you for the very kind comment Amy!
it looks so dry.
where is the herd heading?
We’re in the midst of winter Seeker, and for most of South Africa that means very little rain (for at least another month or two). Unfortunately it wasn’t clear where these blesbok were headed – a nearby stream perhaps?
marvellous shot, De Wets.
Thank you very much Tish!
