Here’s a little trivia for you to use in a pub quizz then, Leslie. There’s actually two kinds of foxes in South Africa – this species and the Cape Fox (silwervos) with four more in the Sahara and the Mediterranean parts of North Africa: The Red Fox (that occurs almost over all the northern hemisphere), Ruppell’s Fox, the Pale Fox and the cute little Fennec.
Ha! And I would have said with great confidence that we don’t get foxes in Africa. Oh dear.
