It’s the third day of unrelenting rainfall at Satara in the Kruger National Park, and it’s still pouring down cats and dogs. Well, cats anyway. Big cats! And lions to be precise.

Looks like the weather is keeping the lions out and about. The sandgrouse looks to be rather soggy.

I think the cats, and other animals, found the roads offered much better ease of movement than the veld!

I wouldn’t like to have been game viewing in the sort of steady unrelenting downpour we have had for the past few days! It just never stops!

We had that same weather for 4 straight days at Satara, and still I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

We witnessed the scared cub reunuting with his mother who was out hunting – such a touching scene!
