Sadly not something we get to see everyday either, but we try to go look for signs like these whenever we get even the slightest of opportunites 🙂

Actually, the elephant trunk imprint had me fooled Gemma; I was sure we had found a human shoeprint, but then our ranger-guide on the Olifants Wilderness Trail started laying out the scene for us.

So glad you placed the captions to identify each “sign.” The elephant trunk marks really fooled me… I had guessed it was a snake.

Call me obsessive Eliz, but I also sometimes (well, often) catch myself thinking about all the beautiful places we visit and daydreaming about what may be going on there right at this moment 😉

So interesting to learn all these signs. Reminds me that there’s so much to learn if we take time to observe.

these are so fascinating! Thought of you last night as I watched a You Tube video of a baby elephant falling. He let out a cry and three mama elephants came running (running!!) to his rescue. I just wanted to cry it was so beautiful.

They’re such charismatic animals, aren’t they Lois!? We once watched a little one who couldn’t walk, because he was standing on his own trunk, and too “dumb” to figure out what the problem was 😀
